Eligibility
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree combined with either a Divisional Officers Course or Fire Prevention Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur. Alternatively, a direct qualification in Fire Engineering or Technology such as B.E./B.Tech (Fire), B.E./B.Tech (Fire & Safety), or B.Sc. (Fire) is acceptable.
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in the Fire Brigade field is essential. Candidates must have served at least 5 years in the position of Station Officer, Assistant Divisional Fire Officer, or a higher designation.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years, Maximum 45 years.
Other Requirements: Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle driving licence, basic computer knowledge, and proficiency in Gujarati, Hindi, or both languages are mandatory. Candidates must also meet the specified physical standards as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules 1967. Male candidates must have a minimum height of 165 cm, chest measurement 81–86 cm, and weight 50 kg. Female candidates must have a minimum height of 157 cm and weight 46 kg.
