Eligibility
Educational Qualification
Candidates must satisfy one of the following:
- Trade Certificate Route: Hold a recognized Trade Certificate in the respective trade from a Government-recognized technical institution.
- 8th Pass Route: Passed 8th Standard with 1 Year of experience in the respective trade.
Additional Requirement for MV Mechanic
Candidates applying for the MV Mechanic position must hold a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving Licence.
Age Limit
Age limit is 18 to 30 years as on 1 July 2018. Age relaxations are provided as follows:
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years relaxation (upper limit: 35 years)
- OBC-NCL Candidates: 3 years relaxation (upper limit: 33 years)
- Central Government Servants: Up to 40 years under applicable orders
- Ex-Servicemen: Service-based relaxation under notified conditions
