Eligibility
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 45 years of age as on 1 January 2026. SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates of Himachal Pradesh are eligible for relaxation up to 5% in age and marks.
English Teacher & Mathematics Teacher: Master's degree (M.A/M.Sc.) in the respective subject with minimum 50% marks at graduation level; Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or equivalent (B.A.B.Ed/B.Com.B.Ed/B.Sc.B.Ed) with the teaching subject as compulsory; Passed Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by HP Board of School Education, Dharamshala, or any government-authorized agency. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, minimum 45% marks in graduation and B.Ed are permissible with 50% in the teaching subject at graduation.
Hindi, Political Science, History, Economics Teachers: Master's degree in the respective subject from a recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate marks; B.Ed from a recognized institution with minimum 50% marks; Passed TET; Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English; Relaxation of up to 5% available for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates of Himachal Pradesh.
