Eligibility
Essential Qualification: Candidates must possess an MD, MS, DNB, or equivalent postgraduate medical degree in the respective discipline from a recognized university or institute as specified under the Central Residency Scheme. Candidates with DM, MCh, DNB Super Specialty or equivalent qualifications in the respective field are also eligible.
Age Limit: Candidates must not exceed 45 years of age as on 24.10.2026 (date of notification publication). Age relaxations are granted as follows: SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation; OBC candidates get 3 years relaxation; PWBD (OPH) candidates get 10 years relaxation.
