           BPSC Motor Vehicle Inspector Exam Syllabus

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) released the vacancies notification of the Motor Vehicle Inspector posts. You can submit the online application before 09th June 2020. Now www.sarkarispot.com is providing the BPSC Motor Vehicle Inspector Exam Syllabus.

The recruitment of  BPSC Motor Vehical Inspector Exam process will be done in two parts.

 Written Examination 300 marks
Interview 150 marks

Written Examination:-

There are three question papers in the written examination of  BPSC Motor Vehical Inspector Exam. Each paper will be 100 Marks and time will be given 2 hours. The question paper will be an Objective type of multiple-choice question.

Paper- I (General Study)Arithmetic, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Geography, History, Economics, and Political Science, Indian Constitution, Five Year Plans, Scientific progress, National / International Awards, Language, Book, Capitals, Currency, Game and Players, Important Events.
Paper – II
OR Mechanical engineering
The same questions will be asked in this paper, which is set by the Bihar State Technical Education Council for the Diploma in Auto Mobile Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering respectively.
Paper – III Motor Vehicle Rules and ActsBihar Motor Vehicles Rules 1992, Motor Vehicles Act 1965 and Central Vehicles Rules 1969

Note:- First question paper and Third question paper will be the same for all aspirants. The second question paper will be chosen by aspirants for the time of filling online application. Choose on subject Automobile engineering or Mechanical engineering.


Candidates will be called for interview on the basis of written examination. In which their complete personality, knowledge of subjects, information of current affairs, examination of both creative and positive, their suitability to work in the Transport Department will be evaluated.

Only those candidates who have scored in the written examination will be called for interview:-

All Female and PWD Candidates32 %

In the interview, the merit marks will be divided as follows:-

Entrant and equivalent qualification10 percentage point of percentage of score
Technical AbilityPercentage marks of total marks in diploma
Every Year Experiance 03 Marks, Total 09 Marks Maximum.
Specification in Automobile engineering or Post Diploma06 Marks
Interview25 Marks
