Technician Electrician (Trainee) Cat. III 95 Matriculate or equivalent examination passed; ITI (2-year course) in Electrician Trade with Trade certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT and minimum 1 year Apprenticeship Training Certificate.
Technician Welder (Trainee) Cat. II 10 Matriculate or equivalent examination passed, ITI in Welder Trade with Trade certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT and minimum 1 year Apprenticeship Training Certificate.

Entry level grade & pay scale

Technician Fitter (Trainee) Cat. III - Daily rated Basic Rs 1583.32 per day; Technician Electrician (Trainee) Cat. III - Daily rated Basic Rs 1583.32 per day; Technician Welder (Trainee) Cat. II - Daily rated Basic Rs 1536.50 per day.
